Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The General Motors C/K series emerged as the renowned successor to the Task Force era of pickup trucks, solidifying its position as the marque's most celebrated light truck. The third generation, known for its straight lines and distinctive hard, parallel edges, earned the moniker "The square body" and achieved significant sales success, remaining in production with styling changes until 1991. From its debut in 1972 to 1976, the C-10 Chevrolet was available in a diverse array of trims tailored for various purposes. Notably, the Cheyenne trim level provided a high level of customization, featuring a bench seat with a full-depth foam cushion and upholstery options such as custom-grained vinyl, air conditioning, power steering and brakes, making it the more upscale trim of the C-10. The premium interior also featured door trim panels adorned with simulated woodgrain inserts and storage pockets. Additionally, the headliner, deep-twist nylon carpeting, and garnish moldings were color-keyed, contributing to the overall aesthetics and functionality of the interior. This 1976 C-10 Cheyenne is finished in the iconic Chevrolet Hugger Orange, with a black vinyl interior, and simulated woodgrain dash. Powered by a 350 cu-in Chevrolet small block engine and coupled to a three-speed automatic transmission, this C-10 short bed is the complete package for one of the most desirable generations of light duty pickups.
