7k-Mile 1985 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham
Description
“If you want the comfort of the traditional, full-size automobile, meet Parisienne. Here is luxury and elegance that glides down open roads and smooths out city streets while comfortably seating six adults.” As cars were getting smaller, Pontiac promoted the Parisienne for those buyers wanting something more traditional.
The Pontiac Parisienne was originally a Canada-specific model introduced in 1958, based on the Chevrolet Impala. By 1983, the name was sold in the United States on the largest Pontiac four-door sedan, positioned as a full-size, rear-wheel-drive vehicle on the GM B platform, the fifth and last generation (1977-1989) of the Parisienne name.
The Pontiac Parisienne offered a wide range of engines from a 3.8-liter V6 or optional gasoline or diesel V8s, backed with a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. The Parisienne Brougham variant further enhanced the driving experience with its well-appointed interior, featuring a standard 55/45 split seat with center arm support and reclining passenger backrest, ensuring the ultimate in 80s comfort.
“Experience the full-size luxury that only Pontiac can offer with the distinctive Parisienne,” said the manufacturer. Like this showroom fresh Parisienne Brougham in unmolested preserved condition, having traveled just 6,725 miles since leaving Arnold Palmer Motors in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in 1985.
