Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The iconic second-generation C Series Chevrolet trucks launched in 1967 and ran through 1972, with early C10s sporting a car-like design with a long nose, refined grille, sleek cab, and a flush tailgate latch. Harry Bradley’s innovative design raised eyebrows, but was eventually given a more utilitarian look later in the production run.

The 1972 model could be easily configured to suit the owner’s taste. It was available with fleetside or stepside bodies, 115- or 127-inch wheelbases, inline sixes or small- and big-block V8s, manual and auto transmissions, and various rear gear ratios. But the big story was comfort: the C10 coddled occupants with a smooth ride from its ladder frame and coil spring suspension, then impressed them with numerous convenience and power options. It was a revolutionary vehicle then, and it remains a highly desirable truck now.

This 1972 C10 short bed custom is radically modified. Its eye-pleasing blue paint complements a powerful V8 and three-speed automatic trans, and its custom chassis wears air suspension, huge custom rims, and disc brakes.
