Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The legend that is the Buick Roadmaster would return in incredible full-sized luxury for the 1991 model year. The Estate Wagon transformed the Roadmaster sedan into a formidable family hauler with its enormous cargo capacity. The third-row seat allowed for seating eight, or fold the rear seat down and fit a full sheet of plywood inside the car! Beginning with the 1994 model year, the Roadmaster engine was updated to the 5.7-liter ‘LT1’ V8, which was also being used in the C4 Corvette. This engine offered an additional 80 horsepower while improving fuel economy and only using regular 87-octane fuel instead of premium. With production ending in 1996, the Estate Wagon marked the end of an era. It was the last full-size, body-on-frame, rear-wheel drive station wagon produced by an American automaker, consequently making them highly sought after for its luxurious hauling capabilities.
