Description
“You want to know how much pure fun can be slung between four wheels?”
Even in its basic form Corvette was like no other American automobile in 1959. This 1959 Corvette, powered by the standard 230 horsepower, 283 cu-in version of Chevy’s famed “small block” V8, is proof. It’s paired with the available four-speed synchromesh manual transmission for more pure fun. The 1959 Corvette’s interior included relocated door handles and window cranks for greater comfort, and a passenger side parcel tray for greater convenience.
This example features Roman Red paint with contrasting Snowcrest White coves and a white convertible top that’s sure to never go unnoticed. A removable factory auxiliary hardtop in matching Roman Red is included for all-weather occupant comfort. It’s presented in excellent restored condition after 30 years of cherished ownership with period-correct engine compartment and accurate details all around. In 1959 Sports Car Illustrated magazine concluded, “For all around performance per dollar, the Corvette is hard to beat.” It still is today.
