Originally ordered and offered here by rock star Sammy Hagar. New lithium battery installed by Ferrari of San Francisco in 2024.

Market commentary

Patience paid off in a record-setting price (for the model year — Mecum sold a 2014 model back in 2016 for $5.517M). This car was originally scheduled to appear at Barrett-Jackson's 2024 January Scottsdale auction but battery issues postponed the sale to now. Original MSRP of around $1.4M now looks like a deal.
