Select the Cadillac Series 62 model year you want to research current market prices for
Introduced in 1940, the Series 62 was a mainstay of Cadillac production. Also marketed as the Series 6200 and Series Sixty-Two, it spawned other Cadillac favorites like the Coupe de Ville and Eldorado. Despite being Cadillac's entry-level model for much of its lifetime, the model was luxurious and expensive relative to other cars on the road. The early postwar years saw the Series 62 embrace the design trends of the time, with soaring tailfins and lavish chrome detailing. It got more restrained at the end of the decade, and sleeker in the 1960s. Regularly updated, the Series 62 lasted through seven different generations until 1964, when Cadillac renamed its entry level model “Calais” for 1965.
