1 of 40 "double" COPO Camaro and a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 | The Appraiser - Ep. 4 - Hagerty Media
On this episode of The Appraiser, Colin Comer appraises an original 1969 double COPO Camaro and a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This Camaro is just 1 of 1,015 COPO “9561” cars built in 1969, but what makes this particular car so special is that it’s a ‘Berger” Chevrolet car. Berger Chevrolet ordered 40 COPO cars with the additional 9737 sports car conversion package, which is now known as a “double COPO” car. The owner bought the car on his 21st birthday in 1969 and has owned it ever since, how much has it increased in price? The 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was brought in by a young man, Sean McLaine, who spent his childhood riding around in this car. This car is what you would call a driver. It has been driven on the Copperstate 1000 so it has some flaws here and there, what does that mean for its value?
