It’s been over a year since Koenigsegg revealed the Jesko, but the first of these 125 Swedish hypercars is almost ready.

The $3 million Jesko is propelled by a twin-turbo, five-liter, flat-plane crank V-8 that belts out up to 1603 hp. Among its innovations are the lightest crankshaft ever fitted to a production V-8, and a 20-liter carbon-fiber air tank which feeds the turbos to eliminate lag. Also fitted is Koenigsegg’s Light Speed Transmission, with nine speeds and no less than seven clutches to deliver incredibly fast shifts.

Check out the videos below and just listen to that flame-spitting V-8.
