Watch virtual speedbumps wreak havoc on speeding cars

Ever wonder what would happen to a muscle car, an old SUV, or a kitted-out tuner car if one was going 100+ mph over an endless row of speedbumps?

Wonder no more.

Thanks to video game developer BeamNG and its simulator, named BeamNG.drive, users can come up with all sorts of ways to put cars to the test in the virtual world. It’s also not a bad way to destroy them in glorious fashion.

A supercut of some of this spectacular carnage was posted to YouTube this past summer, but recently it’s caught some bigger traction online. We can see why—there’s a certain satisfaction to seeing everything from vintage sedans, to pickups, to race cars launched into the air, each demolished in their own special flight paths.

Enjoy!
