If you’ve ever dreamed of driving the Planters NUTmobile, here’s your chance. We’ve got to warn you, however, the pay is probably peanuts.

Planters, a subsidiary of Hormel Foods, is looking for three people to break out of their shells and become the next drivers of the NUTmobile, the official ride of Mr. Peanut. And no, you don’t have to be nuts to get behind the wheel. You just have to like ’em.

The three nutty drivers chosen will travel coast to coast in the iconic 26-foot-long peanut on wheels, stopping in various communities along the way. Each full-time position runs from June 2022 through June 2023.

“We are excited to keep this beloved tradition alive and continue to add substance to our fans’ lives as we visit them in their hometowns,” says Jaynee Dykes, associate marketing director for Planters.

The brand is looking for three recent college graduates—preferably those with degrees in sales and marketing, public relations, or communications—to fill the nut jobs. Interested drivers are asked to submit a resume, cover letter, and short video describing why they would make the perfect Peanutter.

In addition to driving the NUTmobile, the three hires will represent Planters in media interviews and appearances with local radio, television, and digital publications.

The deadline is Monday, January 24, 2022. We’ve given you all the information you need, so don’t be salty if you miss the deadline.
