It’s the most famous car in the world, so it’s no wonder that Aston Martin’s DB5 Goldfinger Continuation has become a non-stop publicity machine. The latest news is that the very first of 25 models has been finished after more than 4500 hours of painstaking work.
Complete with a wide array of gadgets developed in collaboration with Bond production house EON Productions, Job No.1 (surely, Oddjob No.1 would have been better?) turned its wheels 55 years after the last DB5 was made at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell plant.
