It’s Finally Time to Say Arrivederci to the Pagani Zonda… or Is It?
The original steampunk supercar made its debut in 1999, and despite being twice superseded by the Huayra and Utopia, the Pagani Zonda has somehow stayed in (very limited) production.
Now, however, the end is near and the Zonda Arrivederci is the final curtain for this groundbreaking piece of automotive art.
Owner Kris Singh will reveal the car during Monterey Car Week, posting on Instagram, “Ladies and Gentlemen, it brings me great honor to tell you that on August 16, 2024 at the Quail Motorsports Gathering Pagani Automobili will be debuting what will always be the single most special car of my lifetime that has been 12 years in the making: The Pagani Zonda Arrivederci—The final Zonda.”
The U.K.’s Modena Design and Pagani Ricopilazione who developed the Arrivederci posted more details and images on the social media platform and explained, “This isn’t just any Zonda, it symbolises the celebration to the end of an era for Pagani; It serves as a last hurrah to Horacio Pagani’s accomplishments, a celebration of the artist that he is, and puts into perspective how far Pagani’s technology and design has come.”
The exterior features a one-off blue and red color scheme, along with plenty of exposed carbon fiber. The wheels were commissioned especially for Singh with a six-spoke designed inspired by the rims fitted to the Huayra BC and the double-decked rear wing is also a unique element
Although Singh says this is the final factory-built example, Zonda Ricopilazione appears to have other ideas, saying, “But this is only the beginning for Zonda Ricopilazione, something incredible is on the way…”
This thing has more final versions than KISS has final tours.
OK I kid, still an amazing car.
