Bentley Bentayga brings the noise with Pikes Peak inspired Akrapovič exhaust
As the if the Bentley Bentayga wasn’t noticeable enough, it’s now even louder thanks to the option of an Akrapovič exhaust system.
The lightweight titanium system comprises link pipes, rear muffler and two sets of oval tailpipes, while the central silencer is replaced with straight pipes for “a more characterful voice.” Bentley and Akrapovič previously collaborated on the 2018 Pikes Peak Bentayga which set a production SUV record on the famous hillclimb. The exhaust fits V-8 Bentaygas and comes as part of a new exterior option pack, which also adds gloss carbon-fiber mirror cowls.
Bentley is offering three further accessory ranges for touring, protection, and the interior. The touring range adds roof bars with a roof box or ski/snowboard carrier and a trunk stowage box, while the protection range offers a choice of car covers, floor mats, and mud flaps.
Finally, the interior range includes carpeted footrests, golf bags, bespoke luggage, and scatter cushions—which presumably can also be used by passengers to cover their ears.
