Corvette Installation & Restyling Center Opens
A new installation and styling center opened at Mid America Motorworks. The Effingham, Illinois, company is a mail-order supplier to Corvette, Volkswagen and Porsche parts and accessories.
The 3,500-sq. ft. facility is located adjacent to owner Mike Yager’s My Garage Museum, right on the Mid America corporate campus. The center will provide both installations of interior soft trim, high-performance equipment and restoration products by the company’s own experienced technicians.
Yager said the tremendous success of an installation service started earlier this year led to the construction of dedicated facility to serve hobbyists, collectors and investors. “Our Installation and Restyling Center is fully equipped to give any Corvette the same care we currently give to the cars housed in our museum,” he stressed.
Mid America Motorworks will immediately offer installation services on a select group of the most-popular interior styling and performance parts in the company’s mail-order catalog. “Our team is highly experienced in the art of hand-crafting unique interiors and has installed interiors and performance parts in cars featured in My Garage Museum & Retail Store, Bloomington Gold Award winning Corvettes and General Motors XP vehicles valued at over $1,000,000,” Yager added. “They also designed and produced the award winning Xtreme Corvette’s Checkered Flag interior.”
Customers can visit the Museum while waiting for work to be done on their Vette. Mid America’s website provides a list of services and approximate labor costs. If you want to purchase other catalog items and have them installed, call for a custom quote and to schedule the installation work. Appointments can be made by contacting Russell Brewer at 800-500-1500 or Russell.Brewer@mamotorworks.com.
