Which cars will be on the 2024 Hagerty Bull Market List?
For seven years running, Hagerty has established its Bull Market List by poring over reams of data—sales results, demographic changes, import statistics, Hagerty Price Guide values, and more—to identify a group vehicles we think will appreciate in the near term. This isn’t investment advice per se—rather, our goal is to point out that with some due diligence and a smidge of luck, you can experience the joys of the collector car hobby and maybe get your money back or turn a little profit when it’s time to sell.
But what if we turned the selection process over to you? Taking into account your personal experiences, observations, and insights—perhaps shaped by what you’ve read from our team covering the collector car market over at Hagerty Insider—what cars do you think are primed to become the next hit among collectors? What will soon rise in value more than the rest of the market? (For the record, I am a remote worker here at Hagerty and I do not know who will make the list.)
Maybe a C6 Z06 Corvette? The second-generation Pontiac Firebird? The FD Mazda RX-7? How about a supercharged Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG?
Or perhaps a rags-to-riches story involving one of the most maligned vehicles in North American history should make the list?
Okay, maybe it’s tougher to imagine the Yugo rising to such heights. But everyone here at Hagerty Media is curious to know what you think will be on the 2024 Bull Market List. Tell us in the comments!

I think VW Vanagon hits again. I was approached 3 times at different gas stations this summer and asked to sell my 84 Vanagon. I was tempted to sell it to the guy that offered $25,000. My wife loves it (we’ve owned it for just short of 30 years). They were all 45-55 years old.
Should be interesting to see what pops up this year. one would assume some more JDM stuff on the list.
The 2014 Premier Lime rock green 550 built, 50 sent overseas 460 HP with premium luggage Corvette Convertible LT 3 , all these Vettes numbered. It was an instant collectors item. Corvette Dealers kept them. All new parts. Whats the value??

WRX STI 2011-2014 (Hatch)
Porsche 911 (997.1) 2004 to 2008 (Manual)
2014 Mini Cooper S Works
Jeep Wrangler YJ (1986 – 1995)
Lamborghini Diablo’s have been on a tear since July 2022 bucking the current downward trend. Just look at the sales on Bring a Trailer. Hagerty typically misses this model and punts to the Murci. Over the next year or two, I think we will see a surge in prices for most Diablos by at least 100K
After a bit softer 2023, I see the second generation Cadillac CTS V coming on strong in 2024. The wagons will once again lead the way, followed by the coupe and lastly the sedan. In the older vehicles, I believe the discontinued GM models, Oldsmobile and Pontiac will continue their modest increases in value.
No doubt the 80’s through the mid 90’s caprice’s, impala’s and SS models should make the list. Last of GM’s body on frame four door sedans. Values have been just going up and up!:))
Subaru STi from 04-07 and the Mitsubishi Starion / Dodge Conquest
I have to put in with the comments about the Chrysler Crossfire. I owned both the na and SRT-6 versions over the course of about 10 years. I modded the SRT version to over 400 hp and it ran as smooth as grandma’s Buick. Not a single problem during ownership. It was faster than the C7 Corvette I replaced it with. Cheap to purchase, easy to work on and a forum to die for.
When you say “What will soon rise in value”, I assume you are referring to % rise and not $ rise. You could measure $ rise, but that would eliminate a lot of autos on the lower end of the budget. For it is that segment, the under 25k segment, I believe will rise next year the greatest. The economy will be struggling, but we love our cars and will need to adjust our budgets and expectations. Secondly, cars with manual transmissions have to be top of the list. These are a dying breed in recent years and I believe people will be desperate to get them while they are here. Based on this, my picks would be: 99-04 Mustang GT, 00-06 Audi TT & Nissan 350Z.
I believe clean/survivor Chevy S10, of all gens, are primed to take off. Also, 68-73 corvettes.

I believe that the better Porsche air cooled 911s will appreciate better than most cars, because they require the least attention to mechanical issues and have a large existing fan base, are very attractive, AND, are driveable and can compete with most new cars. I might also add that they get a lot of attention! I get people to stop to talk to me every time I take my 84 911 out. Of course she starts every time and can still break 150mph.
