After the disappointment of 2020, which saw the cancelation of practically every major collector car event in the U.S., anticipation is already building for the 2021 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Adding to the fun will be the first-ever class of historic Indy Cars.

The annual California get-together of vintage race cars and racing enthusiasts returns August 12–15, 2021 at the legendary WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca circuit. Applications are already being accepted at register.weathertechraceway.com for both the Motorsports Reunion and the Monterey Pre-Reunion scheduled for August 7–8.

The events attract some of the most authentic and historically significant race cars in the world, but Barry Toepke, director of marketing and communications at Laguna Seca, says the Monterey Motorsports Reunion goes beyond the cars.

“The experience is elevated by reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, and the likelihood of bumping into the many legendary drivers who annually attend,” Toepke says. “That’s what makes the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion so special and unlike any other in the world.”
