The festivities this year at Amelia Island was a celebration of motoring. The weekend boasted a huge variety of cars on display and for sale at a number of venues, and owners took the opportunity to cruise, top-down if possible, along the Florida coast. While the auction block was the best place to witness some high-dollar action, we spent most of our time milling through the cars displayed on the lawns where we could get up close and observe the details. The shots below highlight some of our favorite sports cars and racers for this year’s event. Enjoy!
The Bullitt Mustang was on display in Hagerty’s booth, where show-goers could get up close and snap a photo with an icon of American cultural history. Brandan GilloglyBeautiful race cars made up the North American Racing Team (NART) display on the far end of the Concours lawn. It wasn’t all Ferrari at the NART display, as one 1968 L88 big-block Corvette also had success on the team, look for that car in the gallery below.
