Your guide to the 2019 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance

The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is often described as the opposite of Pebble Beach, and not just because of the calendar offset. Whereas the Pebble Beach Concours and all the goings-on of Monterey Car Week are spread out among an entire peninsula (with agonizing traffic), Amelia take place in a much smaller geographic area. Amelia doesn’t have the feeling of over-the-top excess you get at Pebble; it’s more of a relaxed vibe. Still, you’ll find no shortage of rare and expensive cars, and the regular feature of motorsports classes at the Amelia Island Concours means you can see all manner of legendary race cars.

If you’re heading to Amelia this year, or scouting it out from afar to plan a future trip, here’s a guide to all the events. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Hagerty booth to stop and say hello!
