The 2018 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is moving to Saturday, March 9

The threat of heavy rain in northwest Florida on Sunday, March 10, is forcing organizers of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance to move the event up a day.

The concours, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 10, will now be held Saturday, March 9, from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. It will now coincide with the previously scheduled Cars & Coffee event on Saturday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Consequently, RM Sotheby’s Auction will move to Friday, March 9, beginning at 3 p.m., and the Drivers of the IMSA Prototypes Seminar originally scheduled for Saturday will now be held on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Talbot Ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton.

Saturday evening’s Gala will be held as scheduled.
