Bring a Trailer

It was an interesting idea: a Mustang that could hang with cars that cost three times the original MSRP … priced at three times the original MSRP. Starting with a plain-Jane LX Mustang, Kenny Brown added a long list of upgrades, not least of which was a GT40-style SVO block turbocharged to around 400 hp and a Borg-Warner T5Z transmission. There are disc brakes on all four corners, subframe connectors, and plenty of other upgrades.

This one, owned by Hagerty’s own Colin Comer, is on Bring a Trailer this week. Check out the video below to hear this unusual take on a fast-forward Mustang roar. At the very least, the next owner will be able to raise pulses—and some mild terror—at a local cars and coffee!
