What is your favorite factory paint color?

With the exception of the DeLorean DMC-12 and a few supercars, cars wear a layer of paint on the exterior. The shade, finish, and texture of that color can really make a car stand out—for better or worse. So what color does it best?

Color codes can be iconic as the hues themselves, with names like Hugger Orange, Plum Crazy Purple, and Azure Blue all holding a special place in the heart of anyone with oil and gas running through their veins. Those who prefer tea to coffee might lean toward British Racing Green or Silver Birch.

Certain hues compliment the designers’ vision, while other can hide the fine details. Paint color can even make or break a car’s value—just ask the Hemi Mopar owners.

We know our favorites, but we want to hear from you. What is your favorite factory paint color?
