Lamborghini adds hex appeal to Aventador SVJ with Xago Edition

Lamborghini is set to release a limited run of just ten Aventador SVJ Xago Editions, complete with a honeycomb “hexagonita” design theme.

An array of silver-effect hexagons decorates the exterior, and the seats feature the six-pointed shape stitched into the leather. Inspiration apparently came from clouds only seen at the North Pole of Saturn. Looks like someone’s been using lockdown for a bit of extra-curricular astronomy or, possibly, for a spot of beekeeping.

Each of the ten Xago Editions will be further personalized for customers with a choice of contrasting colors and gloss black Nireo rims.

The limited-run cars are timed to coincide with the launch of a new virtual Ad Personam studio service. Previously customers wanting the most bespoke Lamborghini would visit the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory for a private consultation with designers, but now the same service will be offered by video call.

More than 50 percent of Lamborghini cars feature at least one element of Ad Personam detail and, with the new digital service, you can expect to see even more, er, individual Lambos on the streets soon.
