Coyote-Powered 1957 Ford Custom 300 Tudor Sedan Start-Up and Walk-Around
Description
Replacing the entry-level Mainline and mid-range Customline, the Custom made its debut in 1957 as the new entry-level offering from Dearborn. The new cars had more sculpted bodies, a much lower stance, and introduced the signature tail fins of the era. The Custom lineup included the Fordor Sedan, Tudor Sedan, and Business Sedan with a parcel shelf in place of the back seat. Additional luxury features were offered in the up-market Custom 300 trim level including full-length exterior chrome trim as well as dual sun visors and armrests. Customs of this generation are attractive cars, beloved for their distinctive 1950s styling cues and dazzling color schemes, and remain highly sought after today to enjoy in factory specification or as the basis for a custom build.
