1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
To commemorate the final model year of the C3-generation Corvette, Chevrolet offered a special Collector Edition model for 1982 only – the most expensive Corvette ever offered at the time with a price of more than $22,000 when new. It featured an exclusive hatch rear window, unique Silver-Beige Metallic paint, matching Silver-Beige Metallic multi-tone leather interior, “fading shadow” gradient treatment on the hood, fenders, and doors, and cloisonné emblems. A fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch Chevy small-block V8 paired with a new four-speed automatic transmission powered the full Corvette range for its final model year before the introduction of the C4 in 1984.
Highlights
Finished in Silver-Beige Metallic over matching Silver-Beige Metallic multi-tone leather on the seats and door panels
Rides on exclusive 15-inch Collector Edition wheels resembling 1967 “bolt-on” wheels, shod with white-letter Goodyear Polysteel Radial tires
Features a fully lifting frameless glass hatchback with remote release and removable glass roof panels with special bronze color and solar screening
Well-appointed interior with standard upgraded carpeting and a hand-sewn leather-wrapped steering wheel
Please note that while the five-digit odometer displays just under 46,000 miles at the time of listing, the true mileage is unknown
