Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Known around the world for their legendary reliability, versatility, and all-terrain prowess, it's fair to say Toyota Land Cruisers are one of the single most universally loved 4x4 vehicles ever built. What began as Japan’s effort to clone the U.S. military Jeep later became Toyota’s best-selling model in America with importation of the J40 series beginning in 1963. Cosmetically, the FJ remained largely the same during its twenty-year production and was offered in various wheelbases and utility configurations, with a selection of straight-four and six-cylinder gas and diesel engines. Despite their reputation as rugged, no-frills off-roaders, FJ40s are regarded as highly collectible and have become frequent subjects of high-quality restorations.
