Jeff Briglia

President of Insurance

Jeff Briglia serves as Hagerty‘s President of Insurance. In this role, Jeff leads all aspects of our insurance operations and plays an important role in scaling the insurance side of the business in the coming years, including overseeing our direct-to-consumer efforts, the State Farm program, the rollout of Enthusiast+, and cultivating other partnerships.

Jeff brings 22 years of insurance experience with him to Hagerty. Most recently, he was the President and CEO of Plymouth Rock Assurance’s Direct and Partner Group. In this role, he helped the company create the foundational processes to drive transformational improvements in the company’s growth and profitability, particularly for their direct-to-consumer business. He also led important strategic and operational changes with key partners.

Before joining Plymouth Rock, Jeff was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Insurance Officer for Metromile. He also held executive leadership positions at market leaders, including Progressive and Allstate and challenger brand Mercury Insurance.

In addition to his insurance expertise, Jeff has leadership experience across a range of business areas, including product, claims, distribution, marketing, and customer service. His experience and leadership will help us continue to identify opportunities to add value for members.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, venturing outdoors, playing the piano and drums, and traveling. Whether sailing, learning a new composition, or exploring new cities in distant lands, Jeff is a constant learner and explorer.
