Has visible flaws to the naked eye. Runs fine, but could use mechanical or cosmetic attention.
Repainted with poor follow through. There are drips all along the hood edge. The bumpers are dull and pitted. The engine compartment is filthy and neglected, the shaker scoop has been modified from being cosmetic to functional. The underbody is heavily oxidized and the fabricated transmission crossmember looks questionable in quality. The interior is complete but has a cracked dash and smells of rodents. The poor cosmetics and workmanship do not do this rare car (1,377 made) any justice.
Market commentary
An interesting and unusual LeMans, but seriously neglected. The consignor was lucky to get this high of an offer for this car, and should have taken it.
