Condition
Smashed in the nose, put away in 1976 and unrestored. Dusty, dirty, stiff old upholstery but, other than the nose, complete and sound. The engine is represented to turn over and not seized, one of 273 built.
Market commentary
This could be a $300,000 car some day, but it will take every penny of the $205,000 left after this transaction to get it here. It's a potentially rewarding project, however, and the bidders at Retromobile enthusiastically took it on.
