Guide Tilt Beam drum headlights, round bolster tank, windwings, folding windshield, lever friction shocks, semi elliptical leaf springs, rear brakes only. Yellow wire wheels, blackwalls. Feed tank pressure pump not connected. An ageing old restoration with some eruptions showing under the paint, some of the chrome starting to peel, but generally sound and usable. It wouldnt be at all surprising to find out this was a rebody. Not running when sold and in need of some serious but not particularly daunting attention.
Market commentary
This is huge money for a Series 5 Raceabout which shares only the name and certain design cues with the legendary Type 35 Raceabout. Reason seemed to have been lost to enthusiasm.
