Watch a 16-year-old racer smash the world slalom record

New York kart racer Chloe Chambers has set a new world record for the fastest vehicle slalom at the tender age of 16.

Chloe has been racing karts since she was just seven, but this 50-cone slalom was quite a different challenge.

“It looks easy, but it’s really not—to weave between 50 cones as fast as possible, trying to beat a record time and knowing I couldn’t touch a single one for the run to count—I definitely felt the pressure,” she said.

The record-breaking run saw Chloe take a Porsche 718 Spyder through the course in just 47.45 seconds, beating a 2018 record set in China.
