This Bugatti is the ultimate Valentine gift

Bugatti

They say money can’t buy love but, while many American men were rushing out to get last minute gas station flowers and chocolates, one well-heeled chap bought a $3M bespoke Bugatti for his wife.

The anonymous romantic worked with H.R. Owen in London to design a one-off Chiron Sport to be delivered to his beloved Alice in time for Valentine’s Day.

The bodywork is in Silk Rosé and Matt Blanc (the color, not the guy from Top Gear and Friends), while inside leather and Alcantara adorn every surface in the Gris Rafale hue.

The name Alice is embossed in the headrests and applied to the door sills so there’s no forgetting who this Chiron was crafted for. Despite being a Sport model with its stiffer chassis the car comes with softer, wider comfort seats so Alice’s posterior will be well-cushioned.

With a deftly placed Jimmy Choo Alice will be able to summon 1500 horsepower from the Chiron’s turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 engine and, should she ever find herself on suitably long straight, reach a top speed far north of 250 mph.

Ken Choo, CEO of H.R. Owen says the car is an example of how  “the depth and scale of Bugatti’s extensive accessories and options catalogue allows for even the most ambitious of designs to be realized.”

Is this the ultimate expression of a man’s love for his lady or a St Valentine’s Day massacre?
