Ross Bentley offering free Chalk Talk next week

Most trackday drives and club racers have seen their March and April schedules change from “hectic” to “tranquil” seemingly overnight—but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a chance to improve our craft during this downtime.

Ross Bentley, the former IndyCar racers whose “Speed Secrets” courses have helped thousands of drivers become better around a racetrack, tells us that:

I’d invite you to join me this coming Tuesday, March 24th for a free online Chalktalk. If we can’t drive, we should at least talk about driving. And hopefully I can answer some of the questions you’ve been wanting to ask.

The format of the Chalktalk (I’ve done half a dozen of these in the past) is essentially a Q&A session. You log in and I’ll be there in front of my whiteboard; you and others can ask me any question you want (as long as it has something to do with driving and cars!); I answer it. If it’s best to illustrate an answer, I’ll use the whiteboard. Simple as that—and it’s fun! You can ask as many questions as you want, and you’ll probably get just as much out of listening to my answers to your fellow drivers’ questions.

The only thing you need to do right now is to register so I have an idea of how many people will be online. To do that, go to https://speedsecrets.com/chalktalk/ (or click on the button below).

This is a live session, and I don’t plan on recording it, so you’ll need to actually be online (you can use a computer, tablet, or smartphone). It’ll start at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30pm PT (again, this coming Tuesday, March 24), and it’ll last pretty much until I’ve answered everyone’s questions.

This should be time well spent for anyone who wants to get better behind the wheel—and the price, of course, is right!
