Hagerty expands Garage + Social car culture clubhouses nationwide

Hagerty Garage + Social recently expanded to new locations across the US. With nine sites open so far, Garage + Social is continuing its mission to offer collector-car owners a place where they not only can store their cars but also where they can work on them and hang out with fellow like-minded collectors. Garage + Social locations are purpose-built vehicle storage facilities dedicated to the preservation and storage of classic, collector, and exotic cars and motorcycles. So much more than just a place to store your car though, Hagerty Garage + Social offers everything from a calendar full of unique social events to full-service maintenance and detailing. Garage + Social can cover all aspects of collection management, including helping you buy and sell your collector car, as well as providing a space to celebrate car culture every day.

Facilities

Each Hagerty Garage + Social location offers premium climate-controlled dust-free garages, with 24/7 security. But it is so much more than just storage. There are personalized services such as washing, detailing, and maintenance coordination. Each location is a little different and offers a variety of unique perks like tools and lifts you can use for maintenance, golf simulators, movie theaters, on-site mechanics, and meeting space. Hagerty Garage + Social members are encouraged to stop by and hang out whenever they please. Think of Garage + Social as your clubhouse. Stop by, grab a coffee, admire some cars and hang out with fellow automotive enthusiasts.

More than just a Building

Hagerty Garage + Social locations are places where members can gather, offering social, learning and experiential events, including driving tours, track days, lectures, seminars, and more. Some facilities also provide state-of-the-art mechanic shops, on-staff technicians, and even tools for enthusiasts who want to work on their own vehicles. Members are invited to join in on social drives, track-days, tours, and rallies. Hagerty takes care of the logistics and details; all you have to do is drive. There is even an app that provides scheduling, pick up, and drop off assistance. Other benefits include assistance with buying and selling your collector car, facilitating covered car transport with the most trusted carriers, and even making sure your car’s battery and tires are ready before you arrive to pick it up.

Part of the appeal of owning a collector car is the fun of going to events such as cars and coffee, track days, and other meet-ups with like-minded enthusiasts. Car collectors are a social bunch, but too often they end up holding their get-togethers in parking lots or other nondescript settings; your prized 300SL Gullwing, or even classic Mini Cooper deserve better than the parking lot of a CVS.

Gather with Car People

“We wanted to provide a place where the setting was commensurate with the level of passion of our members,” shared James Machinist, co-creator and Vice President of Hagerty Garage + Social on his vision. “The locations are purpose-built. All are fully climate-controlled, with twenty-four-hour video surveillance, and are open seven days a week. We are also able to arrange round-the-clock access, so if a member wants to pick up a car at 2 a.m., we can accommodate that,” he says. In addition to its facilities, Hagerty G + S can assist its members with concierge services offered by a dedicated staff. “We’re able to handle tasks such as battery replacements and wheel swaps,” he says. “In each of our locations, we also have established great working relationships with a select few restoration shops where we can send members with vehicles that have more extensive needs. In our experience, finding a shop that does outstanding work is one of the weak points in the community. Our goal is to make the experience of collector-car ownership enjoyable and easy for our members.”

Hagerty Garage + Social provides world-class vehicle storage and the first ever national network of storage clubs. Even if you don’t have a vehicle you want to store, there is still the option to join as a social member for the ultimate hangout for automotive enthusiasts. Costs for membership varies by location and depend on whether you are storing a car, motorcycle, or a social membership.

Welcome to the club

Every Garage + Social member will be automatically enrolled in Hagerty Drivers Club too. Locations

The newest cities to add a Hagerty Garage + Social building include Culver City, Van Nuys, Miami, and Palm Beach. Culver City and Van Nuys are open for storage and anticipating their clubhouse to open in Spring 2023.
