C8 Corvette gets wild widebody treatment from Rocket Bunny Japan

Rocket Bunny

Japanese tuner Rocket Bunny Racing has a wide and wild new take on the C8 Corvette. Flamboyantly flared from front to rear, and fitted with a giant rear wing, this body kit could only have come from the mind of Kyoto’s Kei Miura.

Miura started with JDM models from the original AE86 Corolla to the FR-S/BRZ/86, Supra, GT-R and Lexus RC, to name but a few. Now that he’s moved on to American muscle, Miura has really pumped it up.

There’s nothing subtle about the wheel-arch extensions with their bizarre five-sided arches or the widened sills, all clad in matte black in contrast to the gloss black of the mirrors and air intakes. Sitting on black and yellow rims, wrapped in a thin ribbon of Toyo rubber, this crazy Corvette will certainly stand out at your local cars and coffee.

The wide-body kit is $7000 with the wing, plus fitting, and is a collaboration between Miura’s Rocket Bunny Racing and Pandem brands.
