Get behind the scenes of “Ford v Ferrari” with Matt Damon and Christian Bale

Directed by James Mangold and starring Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby along with Christian Bale as Ken Miles, Ford v Ferrari will hit the big screens a week from now on the 15th of November. Yet before purchasing your popcorn, we highly recommend visiting the Petersen Museum, where the cars of the movie (known as Le Mans 66 in Europe) are currently on display. We’re talking Cobras, Ferraris, GT40s, and a whole lot more.

Yet if you’re wondering how a big-budget car movie gets made in 2019, look no further than the behind the scenes footage published by Fab TV.

Next to a seemingly very happy James Mangold, Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Tracy Letts, there was a lot of climbing in and out of Shelby Cobras around Willow Springs, not to mention some very fast camera rigs, and an absolutely superb Citroën bus Bale rode to Le Mans in.

And if we got your attention, here’s the second part of the footage, which includes not only a sufficiently noisy Le Mans start, but also the dramatic Ferrari crash we can’t wait to see on the big screen.
