Hagerty’s How To: Installing an electronic ignition kit

Few systems on an old car offer more potential for persistent troubles than the ignition system. Points, rotor, condenser, cap, coil and wires can and do fail. More often than not, the points are the culprit. A modern electronic ignition conversion can eliminate pesky points. They’re a breeze to install if you know what you’re doing.
