Motorlux kicks Monterey Car Week into high gear
The inaugural Motorlux event at the Monterey Jet Center Wednesday night officially kicked off the start of Monterey Car Week 2022 with the glitz and glamour of beautiful cars, planes, and people.
The new signature blue carpet led partygoers past Ken Block’s striking Hoonipigasus accompanied by the enchanting Electra String Trio. Guests followed the blue carpet down Electric Avenue flanked by the glow of the latest and greatest electric vehicles. On either side, rows of collector cars stood amongst looming vintage and new aircrafts.
Within the hanger the newest Range Rovers and Jaguars mixed easily among a VIP set of Lux Lounge ticket holders enjoying premium bites and libations. The hanger mezzanine offered the perfect bird’s eye view to the polished checkered dance floor where electric drums awaited the evening beats to come. As the sun set, open neon disks offered the opportunity to swing, spin, and capture that perfect Instagram photo moment.
Speaking of influencers, several enjoyed the JP Morgan Private Bank 360 camera station where a high-powered panoramic robot arm helped to get the perfect rotating shot of you dancing in style. When not admiring the vehicle displays or hitting the dance floor, guests sampled dozens of culinary delights and signature cocktails from locally renowned restaurants and beverage brands. The famous paella was on hand as was several hydration stations complete with expertly infused water featuring fruit and florals.
