$24,000 can be an appropriate price for a left-hand drive S2, but it was generous for one in this tatty condition. Just a paint job, rechrome and interior redo on a Bentley or Cloud-series Rolls (really the same car with different grille and badging) can cost as much as the amount paid here. Better to pay more for a better car to start with—it will cost you less in the end.
1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III

Not a bad example, unlike so many RHD Clouds found at auction. Original leather has light re-dye and some hardening, but could be improved with Hide Food. Good wood, good paint. SOLD FOR $17,066 by eBay/Kruse in Las Vegas on May 31, 2002. A wrong-side drive Rolls four-door is a great way to look rich for cheap. Most folks will think you won the lottery by the look of the car. However, having the steering wheel on the right side does make paying bridge tolls a pain, and drive-through burger joints can be challenging if you’re alone. This was the right amount for this car.
