Motorbase is a rich resource of information for car enthusiasts. The site’s goal is to catalog every make and model of car produced providing pictures, descriptions and technical specifications on each vehicle.

The company is based in the U.K. but includes some models from the United States and other countries. It isn’t a comprehensive list, but it hasn’t been around a long time. The For Sale section seems to hold mostly U.K.-based cars, but if you’re not worried about buying overseas or transporting, consider this site.

The Directory section also includes mostly U.K.-based car clubs. Also, the “Bibliography” section consists of publications related to the classic car market. You can find auction houses on the site if you’re looking to visit an auction overseas.
