MG Heroes

Cecil Kimber
An avid motorist who was handed the reins of the Morris Garages in 1923. He ran the company through its glory days.

John W. Y. Thornley, OBE
A trained accountant who started at MG in 1931 as assistant service manager and MG Car Club secretary. He retired in 1972 as the general manager.

Albert Sydney Enever
A former shop boy at Morris Garages who joined MG in 1930. He worked on both racing cars and postwar models, ultimately rising to chief engineer, a position he held until his retirement in 1975.
