Eric Clapton’s Ferrari 599 could be yours

Eric “Slowhand” Clapton’s love of fast cars is well known. Now, you could get your hands on his 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1.

The rocker-owned Ferrari is listed for sale by London supercar dealer GVE with Nero Black paintwork contrasting with the Castoro Brown leather interior. Carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers sit inside 20-inch Monolithic alloy wheels. The interior boasts a carbon-fiber driving zone, leather headliner and leather rear shelf.

Clapton is a massive Ferrari fan, with a collection that includes a 365 GTC bought from George Harrison, a 250 GT Lusso, the first Enzo in Britain, a 612 Scaglietti and a one-of-a-kind SP12 EC, built by Centro Stile and Pininfarina. Based on the 458 Italia, the car is rumored to have cost Clapton $4.7 million.

The £89,900 ($118,000) asking price for his 599 seems quite a steal in comparison.
