Hennessey Performance

Texas tuner Hennessey Performance has got its hands on a Lamborghini Urus and the outcome is … noisy. Fast, too.

Best-known for its 1000 hp-plus tunes on Mustangs, Challengers, and Chargers, Hennessey has also been known to dabble in exotica from McLaren and Lamborghini, offering four-figure power conversions.

The Hennessey treatment see the Urus SUV’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 fitted with new stainless steel downpipes and high-flow catalytic converters. There are also new high-flow air filters, and a recalibration of the ECU to release an addition 74 hp at the wheels. The total power available to melt rubber on asphalt is now 620 wheel horsepower with 730 lb-ft of torque.

By Hennessey standards this is a pretty mild upgrade, but the sound from those new downpipes is still epic. Watch and listen in the video below.
