Dodge unleashes all the bald eagles with Stars & Stripes Charger and Challenger

You’d be hard-pressed to find a current car brand that embodies the Pledge of Allegiance, apple pie, and smokey burnouts more assertively than Dodge. As such, the company has just unveiled its latest #Murica upgrade for the Charger and Challenger muscle cars, the Stars & Stripes Edition. The appearance package is designed to be a patriotic salute to our men and women in uniform and will be available starting this May for the Scat Pack, R/T, and GT RWD models.

The visual changes include a satin black and silver accent center stripe, satin black American Flag fender decals, 20-inch black wheels, and black trim badging. Bronze four-piston Brembo brake calipers are also included on all Scat Packs, and also on GT and R/T models equipped with the Performance Handling Group. The interior sees a host of upgrades, too, with a mix of gloss black and bronze accents, stitching, and trim pieces throughout.

The Stars and Stripes Edition will be limited only to select colors, including Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, Granite Crystal, IndiGo Blue, Maximum Steel, Octane Red, Pitch Black, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle. The total cost for all this patriotism rings in at $1995. Bald eagles not included.

In addition to the Stars & Stripes Edition, Dodge will also be offering the Satin Black Appearance group for $3495, and widening the scope of their Brass Monkey package to additional trim levels (a $795 upgrade).

FCA has also recognized that the Dodge brand has the highest percentage of active military buyers among the Big Three. As such, the company is now offering a special $500 discount to current and retired military members through an “Honor Those Who Serve” program. All in all, we have to say this news from Dodge is a pretty great way to show support for our troops.
