You’ll get 4 chances to score one of 140+ European and Japanese classics

RM Sotheby’s has secured a large private collection of Japanese, German, and British cars (that also includes a smattering of Italian, American, and French cars) that will be parceled out, mostly without reserve, over four auctions in the U.S., France, and Germany. RM calls it the Youngtimer Collection, as it is heavily biased towards cars from the 1980s, ’90s, and 2000s, and includes some of the most desirable cars from those decades.

The first auction will take place in Paris, France on February 6, 2019, where more than 20 of the cars will cross the block. Highlights from the Paris sale include several 1980s Alpina models, a pair of Aston Martin Lagondas, a Morgan Aero Sport, and a manual-transmission 1992 Porsche 928 GTS.

The following month, many of the collection’s most prestigious Japanese sports cars will be for sale at Amelia Island, with a low-mileage Acura NSX, Nissan 300ZX Twin-Turbo, and Toyota Supra each looking for new owners.

March 29–30 in Fort Lauderdale, another 20-plus cars from the collection will be available, including several from Bentley and Aston Martin, as well as a 1995 Corvette ZR-1.

The final 80 or so cars will cross the block in Essen, Germany, in April. This selection contains even more BMW M and Alpina models, Mercedes-Benz AMG models from the 1980s and ’90s—including the most sinister wagon we’ve seen—as well as a rare Weismann GT and a 1985 Renault R5 Turbo.

Whether it’s a stately turbocharged Bentley or a svelte German GT, if you came of age in the 1980s and ’90s, the Youngtimer Collection probably has something for you.
