2024 Mustang photos leak ahead of tonight’s reveal
Those looking for massive changes in the 2024 Ford Mustang should have guessed from the spy photos that a revolution wasn’t coming. Now, with these presumably leaked photos of the new car, they have confirmation that this is more of an evolution, albeit a pretty newsworthy one.
The photos reveal a new front fascia with a trapezoidal grille and narrow, triple-element headlights plus a new hood, a flatter, slightly Camaro-like profile, and a modified rear fascia with new taillights. The snowflake wheels, as we expected, return.
The interior looks mostly new, fitted with the obligatory two-in-one touchscreen we spotted earlier, with one photo showing stylized Recaro seats, likely for the 2024 Mustang GT. (Or, perhaps, another Mach 1?) That shot also shows a manual shifter, which Ford had promised, and a mechanical parking brake. Another interior shot shows completely different console-mounted switches—and a manual shifter.
The 2024 Mustang will be revealed tonight in Detroit, so stay tuned for live photos.
