A Word From McKeel: Spring Fever
Most Car People spend the long winter months waiting for spring. Maybe you just want the snow to melt and the salt to wash off the streets; maybe you want to hear, smell and feel a favorite car come to life for the first time in months; or maybe you’re just longing for something new in the garage. Well, spring is here, and that’s all that matters.
For a long time, we’ve wanted to feature one of my great friends, GM’s Vice President of Global Design, Ed Welburn. Things finally came together for our cover story, and it’s fascinating to hear his thoughts on which Cadillac designs have stood the test of time and continue to influence the stewards of that great American brand.
It’s been 60 years since Chevy introduced its legendary small-block V-8. Recent Corvette Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Burton tells us why it’s a design that truly matters and why it has endured for so long.
