Story

I was first exposed to cars the moment I was brought home as a baby. I'm confident my dad had to do something on his 1964.5 Fastback Mustang and he set me down on the car seat or something like that next to him.

My dad owned several Autobody shops in succession throughout my life. He finally became an Autobody Technical Highschool Teacher from where he retired. To this day I learn from him.

My uncle had twins, my twin cousins owned RX-7 Rotary powered anything and everything in Puerto Rico. And my first ride in a Turbo car was with my uncle in one of my cousins cars. It was at that moment that i knew my life was over.

I was 7 years old, and I remember those memories and sounds from that ride as if they were yesterday. At the age of 16 I began working through my higschool at a work study program. It was at a speedshop, a very good friend of mine got me the interview, and drove me to the shop, I am eternally grateful to him.

At this speed shop I learned the inside and outside of the 4G63 Mitsubishi Turbo 4 cylinder motor. They campaigned a 1/4 mile Drag Racecar with AWD, 4 slics, and 560awhp and close to 550 awtq. This was back in 2001, it was very impressive.

Here I learned how stand alone ECUs worked, I learned to tune cars on a chassys dyno, at the age of 17. I learned to fabricate exhaust systems, intercooler kits, wiring repair and fabrication, Transmission repair and rebuild.

We traveled coast to coast with the shop cars to events, including the second ever USCC by SCC mag!
