Description

The 1941 Cadillac Series Sixty-Two is, as Cadillac put it, “America’s finest example of the practical and beautiful body design popularly called ‘Torpedo’ styling.” Especially in its Convertible Coupe form, the Series Sixty-Two was a symbol of American automotive luxury and elegance during the pre-war era quite befitting of Cadillac’s “Standard of the World” slogan. Its sleek, streamlined body was accentuated by distinctive features like the signature grille, sleek fenders, and elegant chrome detailing. The luxurious interior was equally impressive, with plush seating, high-quality materials, and state-of-the-art amenities for its time. Under the hood, all Cadillac Series Sixty-Two models featured a potent 346 cu-in “L-Head” V8 engine that generated 150 horsepower, making it one of the most robust power plants in the automotive market during the early 1940s.

Today this CCCA Full Classic exudes a timeless charm with its graceful design and remarkable craftsmanship. Thought to be restored sometime in the mid-2000s, this Cadillac Series Sixty-Two Convertible Coupe is a stand-out example.
