Description
First offered in 1965, Ford would release the Bronco as the vehicle that was ready to do, “what you want to do… where you want to do it”. Available in a selection of body styles, the Bronco would serve as a direct competitor to the International Scout as not only a capable off-road vehicle, but also provided superior road-going characteristics necessary to navigate the country's improving highway system. While the first generation of Bronco would remain in production until 1977 with very few visual changes, a more powerful 302 cu-in V8 would appear in 1969. After nearly thirty years of production across five different generations, the Bronco would establish a devoted following and a plentiful catalog of aftermarket upgrades.
